Our club has been going strong since fall of 1998; in working with the llamas and presenting them to the public, the kids have gained an amazing level of maturity. With the Joyful Llama Ranch being located near the Urban Growth Boundary, it's convenient for suburban kids to lease our llamas ($1 per year) and come to the ranch to train them. We show at several county fairs each year and win lots of ribbons.
What is a "sproinger"? The word "sproing" describes that "bouncy" type of running in which all four feet leave the ground. Young llamas often display this behavior at sundown--come to the ranch & watch!
